- Items for Daily Life museum rooms – currently seeking items for a “man room,” which could include railroad items, automotive items, farm implements, tools, sports memorabilia, clothing, hats…anything of interest to men
- Handcrafted items for our annual Chapel Christmas Bazaar, our biggest fundraiser of the year
- Decorative items from vintage to modern for our Donated Treasures Market – Hint: Keep an eye out for suitable items when shopping estate and yard sales
- Allow us to copy your old family photographs to add to our collection in the “Looking Back” Room
VOLUNTEER
- We need extra hands at events to help with parking, greeting, refreshments, and tidying up before and after
- The Chapel desperately needs to be pressure washed
- The Education Wing needs to be painted inside and out
- The smelly carpet needs to be removed from the Education Wing
- The concrete floors in the Education Wing need to be cleaned and sealed
EVENTS
- Support our events by attending and consider bringing your civic, church or family groups
- Share your event pictures with us afterwards
- Spread the Word! We especially need help reaching those who don’t utilize social media
- Use the Chapel for your own events! This is a community center available for YOU
CORPORATE SUPPORT
- Help us identify grant opportunities
- See if your employer offers matching funds for your donations to community nonprofits
- If your church, employer, or other group has “serve” days, keep the Chapel in mind
